EDUCATOR

Location: OSU - Corvallis, OR

When: Saturday, July 25- Saturday, August 1

Compensation: $2,000 stipend

POSITION DESCRIPTION:

The Educator serves as a support to students, CA’s, interns, and volunteers during Business Week. Responsibilities include offering guidance on conflict resolution and learning support, supporting workshops, and assisting with adult supervision and camp-related problem solving.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Student, CA, Intern, & Volunteer Support: Provide consistent academic and interpersonal support, helping participants navigate expectations, team dynamics, and challenges throughout the week.

• Workshop Support: Support student questions and engagement within each workshop.

• Google Classroom Support: Help students, interns, and volunteers access materials, submit assignments, and utilize Google Classroom effectively.

• Program Operations: Assist with check-in/out, life balance activities, meetings, and general behind-the-scenes coordination to ensure a successful program experience.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Valid teaching license in the state of Oregon

• Previous experience working with young adults preferred

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills

• Flexibility and adaptability to work in a fast-paced environment
