BACKGROUND

Leveraging Oregon’s former Young Entrepreneurs Business Week (YEBW) model as its entry point, OBA, a nonprofit organization, is building a multi-channel platform to provide basic and advanced business education to students in grades 9-12 throughout the state.

SUMMER 2023

OBA will launch Business Week in Summer of 2023, serving 150 students at Oregon State University (Corvallis). As in the past, Business Week’s curriculum will be delivered by dozens of committed business community volunteers.

BUILDING A PLATFORM

Business Week will expand to multiple college campuses across the state in 2024 and beyond.  Additional offerings will include, Marketing, Finance and Entrepreneurship Weeks as well as industry-specific programming, designed to prepare students for success in their fields of interest.

EQUITY, DIVERSITY & INCLUSION

Traditionally, on-campus business education has been available only to a privileged few.  OBA seeks to change that.  We are committed to enrolling at least 50% of students from low-income backgrounds and traditionally underrepresented and minority communities.  Please INVEST to make this possible.
